Crispy Chickpeas are crunchy, bite size, and coated in flavor. Unlike so many other snacks, they actually offer nutrition and can be eaten by the handful.
What are Ranch Dill Crispy Chickpeas?
Simply put, crispy chickpeas are beans baked in the oven in the most delicious combo of dill and ranch seasoning.
But let’s talk about chickpeas just a little more. The name is often interchanged with garbanzo beans. And these are a MUST on your pantry shelf. Classified as a legume, they are the main ingredient in dishes such as hummus and an important component in Mediterranean, Indian, and Middle Eastern cuisine. While that sounds exotic, they are actually quite simple.
Did you know that they are available in a CAN and for ONE DOLLAR?
Checking off my snack needs one chickpea at a time!

No soaking required, however when draining can of chickpeas, I like to rinse with water and drain again. This ensures optimal taste and texture and rids any additional salt. Plus, it will help with getting rid of skins on chickpeas, which I do recommend.
How do I eat Ranch Dill Crispy Chickpeas?

Tips and Tricks
- Take the extra couple minutes to remove lose skins from peas when drying. This helps to ensure crispiness.
- Lightly sprinkle additional seasoning on prior to serving for an extra punch of flavor
- Eat as soon as possible as they do tend to soften the longer they sit
- When storing, allow some air in. If you store in airtight container, they will soften and lose some crispiness.

These bitesize peas are PACKED with nutrition. Folate, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals like zinc, magnesium (um, hello immune boost!) to name a few. Not to mention they are low fat, low sugar, and a good serving of fiber and protein.
